How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Open the Shop tab (or Settings) and tap “Restore purchases”. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with.
Does my progress move between my iPhone and iPad?
Yes — your progress, coins and collection sync through your own iCloud account, so they follow you across devices signed in to the same Apple ID.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
Open Settings (the gear icon) inside the app and toggle “Daily reminders”. You can also manage them in iOS Settings → Notifications → WordBloom.
How do I remove ads?
Tap “Remove ads” in the Shop, or get the Starter bundle, which includes it. Rewarded videos you choose to watch for coins still work after that.
I bought coins but didn't receive them.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how WordBloom (“the app”, “we”, “us”), published by Daniel Tavares, handles information when you play. We've tried to keep it plain. WordBloom has no accounts or logins — we never ask for your name, email, or address inside the app.
Information collected
- Advertising identifier. The app shows ads via Google AdMob, which may access your device's advertising identifier to provide and measure ads. Personalised ads are only used if you grant permission on the consent and tracking prompts shown when you first play; if you decline, you'll still see ads, but non-personalised ones.
- Usage and diagnostics. We use Google Firebase to understand, in aggregate, how the app is used (for example, which screens are opened and whether a level was completed) so we can improve it. This is not used to identify you.
- Purchases. In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We receive a record that a purchase was made so we can deliver it, but we never see or store your payment card details.
- Game progress. Your progress, coins and colour collection are stored on your device and synced through your own private iCloud account (provided by Apple). We cannot read the contents of your iCloud data.
How information is used
- To show and measure advertising.
- To understand usage in aggregate and improve the app.
- To deliver and restore in-app purchases.
- To save and sync your progress across your devices.

The app uses these services, each with its own privacy policy:

- Google Firebase (analytics) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Apple (in-app purchases, iCloud) — apple.com/legal/privacy
Your choices
- You can allow or refuse tracking via the prompt shown in the app, and change it any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- You can reset your advertising identifier in iOS Settings.
- You can remove ads entirely with the in-app purchase.
- You can stop notifications in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings.
Children
WordBloom is a general-audience word game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us and we'll address it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under UK and EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information relating to you, and to object to certain processing. Because the app collects so little and uses no login, the simplest route is to contact us at support@wordbloom.co.uk and we'll help. You may also adjust the ad and tracking settings described above at any time.
Data retention & security
Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the policies of Google as the processor. Your game data lives on your device and in your own iCloud. We take reasonable measures to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the “last updated” date above, and significant changes will be reflected here.
